This month, we’re celebrating two anniversaries at Partnership Wealth Management. The first is Debbie’s one-year anniversary as a full-time employee. Congratulations, Debbie!
The second is a milestone for me. July 14th marks my 20th anniversary of receiving my Series 7 securities license. It’s hard to believe it’s already been 20 years.
These anniversaries are great for clients as they show that we have experience and that we’re young enough to work with clients for many more years to come.
Whether it’s through a client request or from our endless research, we’re constantly working to improve the service and advice we offer. Here are some of the upgrades we’ve made at PWM so far this year.
We’re now sending client-review agendas up to a week prior to our appointments to allow clients more time to look over our topics and add comments/changes/updates to the agenda.
Happy to meet a client’s request, I will now be appearing via live video during online meetings. The good news for you is that you can stay in your pajamas as clients aren’t expected to appear via webcam.
I’m testing some new hours to help better coordinate with clients’ schedules. I’ll now be available at 7:30am ET on Tuesdays and until 7pm ET on Wednesdays. Although these hours will only apply to meetings in Baltimore and online, I think it will go a long way to providing flexibility to many of our clients.
One of the benefits of being an RIA is that we can communicate much faster with market updates. It can take 1-2 weeks to get a client-wide email approved by a large firm. While those firms often provide their own messaging that advisors can use during times of concern, I prefer to use customized messaging based on what we’re doing and have done for you. Already this year, we’ve sent several messages the same day we feel that you need to read them. We feel that our ability to quickly send customized messages to you helps to improve the level of service that we provide.
Another client request was for us to include index returns in our performance reports. We were happy to do so. Starting with our April 2018 reports, we added benchmarks for bonds, international stocks, US small-companies, and the S&P 500.
Please let us know if you’d like to see us consider other upgrades for the office or our relationships-we’re here to help and are always listening!
